How much does it cost to use a travel agent?

Typically, there’s no cost to book with a travel agent. Commissions are paid by suppliers like Carnival and Sandals, meaning you won’t be charged directly. If you decide to use a travel agent, those "unused" commissions become extra income for the suppliers. Most travel agents operate their own businesses and rely on these as their main source of income rather than hourly pay. In rare cases, if extensive research is required or for flight-only bookings, a fee may apply, but this should always be discussed and agreed upon beforehand.
